Almost a year in Tuck Time I guess. I hope Tucker isn't self-destructively cynical as to dress up as Eugene for halloween. I can't really think of something appropriate but not lame. Or nigh impossible, like Debbie being a biker chick and Tucker wearing the zoot suit. It'd be kinda cute if all of the Rat Boyz wore werewolf suits, and all of the Pack dressed up as foxes.

Please excuse my rambling for I am tipsy.

The outfit that always comes to my mind is Cleopatra- mostly due to the old "Queen of Denial" pun, but I think it would work well on Valerie, and Travis would make a good Marc Anthony as well. Who knows if that will even be a consideration by that point, though.

Gawd, I remember back in 97 or so, talking about Tuck going as Ivanova following Halloween ...

i can't see tuck as Ivanova... come on, you think tuck in B5, you totaly think Psi-Corp. Mike has a B5 tunic right? they could go with a B5 theme. i forget where they were in the storyline in Oct of '97. but it could really work.

I once suggested to Ellen that Kathy would be a good Caitlyn Fairchild from the "Gen13" comics -- which were kinda the new big thing going on (in comics, that is) at the timeframe of the Tuck saga.

Tuck could be a good Roxy (Freefall) -- in the "Tuck Seasons" alternate universe, Val even used a similar hairstyle to Roxy's. Yes, wrong universe and all, never happened in the regular continuity, but it at least proves that Val can look good wearing it.

Now, for casting the rest of the Gen13 gang... I dunno. Any ideas?

Right I recognize the hairstyle now. I knew i'd seen it somewhere before I was collecting those comics when they first came out. Haven't read them for ages though...

Well, he DOES do "boneheaded" things from time to time... but I don't see him doing the "spiritual" thing.

On the other hand, Tuck as "psycho homicidal drunk Minbari..." there's potential here, methinks.

Or maybe Marcus. "They said I had a lot of repressed anger. I'm not repressing it anymore." Tuck DOES have issues. A lot of them. And he's good at martial arts. Not Ivan-the-Terrible good, but good enough. The difference is, Tuck can sing but can't grow a beard. Marcus has a beard, but can't carry a tune.

It's nearing Fourth Season finale in present Tuck timeframe, by the way. (Just checked the Lurker's Guide. Ain't the Internet wonderful?) So, Marcus is a possibility, but Lochley or Byron, for instance, aren't. Too bad; Mike would be great as the telepath lieutnant from "Crusade."

If there's a character from the Babylon 5 universe Tuck identifies with, however, it's probably Garibaldi. Good with computers, paranoid, Daffy Duck fan, good cook... nuff said.

Since Halloween is supposed to be about scaring people how about something like:

Tuck going to school as Valerie. Perhaps a top that shows of her natural development that couldn't possibly be the fake boobs.

This would certainly cause a great deal of shock and just think of Dobsons response!

Also I bet Kim and Jill would not notice as they are so used to seeing Tucker and Val.

Would it really faze them though? Most of the pack have problems remembering that Val is Tuck to begin with. I could see a member of the just saying 'Oh hi Val' as they're walking past eachother in the halls, and not realyzing what was wrong with that picture till they got into they're next classes.

did you forget that last year deb did the ducktape trick. that gave tuck the apearance of actual cleavage. more than just padding. i don't think too much could scare people. maybe tuck in a bikini... but he would freeze...
