So I know this isn't actually about TG fiction, but after lurking a bit and reading other posts I thought this might still be a good place to ask. Smile Does anyone have any recommendations for good TG FAQs/Wikis/etc? I found Tuck while doing some research on the subject actually.

Apologies ahead of time if the question's not appropriate here, but I'd definitely appreciate any suggestions for reading.

You might try susans.org which tries to be a list of TG resources.

Anyone else have suggestions?

http://www.tsroadmap.com/
and
http://www.annelawrence.com/
are good. Also, check out the Links section on my website; I've tried (poorly) to put some good sites in.

If you have found any 'gems' in your own research, please let me know, so I can include the links (I know about the Anne Lawrence not being there; I need to go through and transfer a lot of things out of bookmarks into the Links file, and a few things from memory into the Links file as well).

Awesome, thanks! I appreciate it. I've got enough reading here to keep me busy for a few months now. Smile I like to say I had the floor go tilty on me recently, and as cliche as it sounds, it's good to know I'm not alone, and what others are doing. I'm not sure where it's going for me, but a number of things are starting to make sense finally.

Good! Now you can explain them to the rest of us. =)

Ok, so.. was that post TMI or what? Laughing

A whole lot of thinking and discussing has gone on with me in the last week, but I think I'll continue this over on the tgguide forums when I get my account activated, and not spam this one up more with it (unless of course, others want me to do so...)

To bring this back to the subject of Tuck: this sounds kinda weird but reading it has been really instrumental in running my brain through some important thought exercises. So besides being damned entertaining it's really helped me out (not to mention all the good links). I'm looking forward to reading and discussing the next installment Smile

Last few times I've read Tuck, you know what it's really made me want?

To find a frickin' gaming group somewhere near me! I've been sittin' on copies of the D&D 3.5 books with nobody to play with! Heck, if I had to learn the White Wolf or GURPS systems just to get some play, I'd do it, too!

Alas, I live in ye olde Arkansas, and must be at my human services job (aka hotel desk clerk) in six hours. *Sigh*

Hehe, we're hostin' the Miss Arkansas pageants all this summer, so I'd not have time to game anyways.

Born in Mountain Home, lived in lord knows how many cities, now I'm in Hot Springs 'til I save money for a trans-atlantic move.

We're getting a campaign going here too actually. We've tried to start twice now, but the first time was taken up with character creation (bunch of newbies, including me Embarassed ) and the second time the GM couldn't make it due to losing his phone. Maybe the third time's the charm...

Sure I've been in Mountain Home, my uncle used to be pastor of a church there and some cousins on my Mom's side had a restsurant and cousins on Dad's side had a phramacy. Nice place. Smile That's the big city in the area, must be 10,000 people there. Smile
