I've got a bunch, and it's time (possibly past time) to get rid of them.

This place says that they'll take them, and even pay (kind of) postage.

Has anyone ever used them?

I've got at least a cubic foot of disks - with more turning up all the time - and USPS Media Mail is what floppydisk.com suggests using, and it's what they will actually pay shipping for. But the box has to be 'openable' for USPS Media Mail...

Also, I just found a 1200 baud external modem. With wallwart.

Here in So Cal we have a center close by for drop offs and we did so after We recycled a lot of our floppies by using them as other medium, as we did a mural.

Which was up for about 5 years, we have been using CD's till we recycled them to replace the floppy Mural which went to the plastic recycler

So it can be fun to repurpose things, though I do not see us making a mural out of thumb drives and external hard drives

Goddess Bless you All
