I said over on the episode title list that I thought a story where Val went back to school, her identity unknown, and got revenge could make a good fanfic, but I didn't think I could write it. I think it would be a quite entertaining black comedy, but I wouldn't be able to come up with nasty but funny attacks on the bastards who tormented and attacked Tuck. I also would have problems making the school environment properly hostile. I just don't have the experience to write that correctly. (I'm also uncomfortable with very much dialogue, which a story like this would need; but that's less insurmountable.)
However, I really like the idea of a story like this, and have been thinking about how I would do it if it wasn't for the problems I listed. I thought I would throw out a bunch of my ideas for how to work it, and see if anybody else wanted to run with it, or possibly collaborate on the story.
I would tell the story from a variety of perspectives, in large part from the viewpoint of the soon-to-be victims. I would assume that the attack was interrupted shortly after Tuck went unconscious, before the attackers have a chance to figure out anything about Tuck's unusual anatomy. I figure the locker room has multiple doors, however, so the attackers escape, with Tuck's laptop, unidentified by any authority figures. (I don't know how the laptop would figure into a revenge mission- I just want to make sure Tuck can't use it in class. Even if Tuck knows it would be a dead give-away, I don't know if Tuck could resist if it was still around.)
The story would start with people hanging around Tuck's bed, with Tuck lucid and relatively well. I'm tempted to have them decide that Tuck will use a name other than Valerie at school, so that I can then have the reader wonder which of 3 or so new girls is actually Tuck in the scenes from the bad guys' perspectives, at least for the first victim or two. I'm not sure if that would work in practice, however. Dobson would be brought on board, making the story remotely feasible, with a combination of about equal parts guilt, sympathy, and anger; with about 10% threat of blackmail removing any remaining doubts.
After the introduction, I would switch to the perspective of the first victim. Tuck would, unfortunately, need to stay isolated from her friends at school, to avoid blowing the game. She would also need to drop some of her classes to avoid getting ID'd. There's always next year for AP calc, anyway. The story would alternate between longer chapters, each showing one of the victims going down, from that victim's perspective; and shorter interludes showing Tuck & crew planning the next attack. I don't see revealing many of the details of the attacks in the planning stages. They're just to tease the reader and let us see the good guys for a while. I would probably not do the bad guy segments in first person; I'm leaning towards having the Tuck segments in as close to an imitation of Ellen's style as I could manage.
One complication that would probably occur is Tuck getting at least partially ID's by one or more of the freshmen. The victims would miss the point entirely; but people who already thought Tuck was a girl would see through the disguise far more readily. They may just figure it was a change in style, assuming they notice at all- they certainly wouldn't connect a boy who left school after getting beat up with somebody they've always identified as a girl. A stray comment to one of the victims after several of the others have gone down would clue in that particular target, though.
Those are my thoughts so far. If anybody wants to take it from here, feel free. If somebody wants to try and collaborate with an utterly inexperienced writer, my e-mail address is in my profile.

Well as a further development of my idea, I think you're on the right track. LOL.

I for sure like the idea but I don't think you don't want me as a co-writer since I totally flunked writing essay's on school and english is not my native language. But still, if you need any help reviewing the story don't hesistate to mail me.

Thank you, Natalie. I've talked myself into trying to write this one, and I will probably take you up on your offer if I get very far on the story.
I'm still having trouble coming up with specific acts of revenge, though- I've only got one so far. Any suggestions for getting even people have would be appreciated.

Keep it humorous and witty rather than psychotic and bitter. That's about it I guess.

Hum... I could use that idea, but, as Natalie, English isn't my native language... I'm pretty sure I could translate it, anyway, but.. it wouldn't pass as english, anyway Razz So, if there's anyone there able to translate from Spanish (castelian, not mexican), I could use the help, since I'm writting it anyway

Go ahead and use the idea, by all means. My efforts at trying to write it have been incredibly slow at best. (I've managed to do about the bare minimum to keep my version from qualifying as offically dead. At least a few words a month keep getting added, though. I have an even greater respect for those who can actually sit down and write quickly than I did before- and it was already pretty high.)
